about Kara

Kara was born and raised in Reedley, CA. She fell in love with music at an early age through music lessons, singing in her church's worship team, and continuously teaching herself to play new instruments. Kara began attending Sequoia Church in 2011, where she found a new understanding of the gospel of grace. She loves reading, playing video games, listening to people's stories, discussing things she's passionate about and singing with her brother. She feels called to lead others in worship, serve in authentic church community, and to grow deeper in her faith and music by practicing and taking risks.
