what is a grove?

Sequoia Trees always grow together in groves. These magnificent trees depend on each other by locking their root systems together, bringing strength to every Sequoia in a grove.

At Sequoia Church, we call our small groups Groves. Groves are a small group gathering of people who meet typically in homes at different times throughout the year. God invites us to grow and learn in community and Groves are where people are able to do just that. Jesus says you do.

why join a grove?

Groves are the primary way we express our value of Following. The early church gathered together in homes to grow in knowledge and power of their faith. We believe that a regular gathering in a small group is a valuable way to learn how to follow Jesus because our faith grows best when we are together.
